We had a great #VirtualLunch conversation today, Friday, May 13, 2022, with #SpecialGuest Ari Treuhaft of Litify. My key takeaways were: (1) The platform approach is founded on having transparency to make better business decisions, extensibility to provide the flexibility to perform legal work in an optimal way, and automation to drive success and progress; (2) We need to balance the intangible value of meeting in person with the practical aspects working remotely; (3) Salesforce is deployed most commonly as a #CRM and ticketing system, but has established an ISV model that allows businesses to build their own systems on top of the underlying platform; (4) The goal is not to use technology as a place to put things, but as a device to drive improvement and scalability; (5) User adoption is critical in legal; (6) Focus on the value you are delivering to distinguish your offering; and, (7) Practices that work in law firms can be applied in-house.
